This highly detailed Blue Spotted Ray figure is scientifically accurate, educational, and fun!
From the Safari Range: Incredible Creatures® collection
Size: Large - 16.5 L x 9 W x H
Also called the Bluespotted Ribbontail ray, this colourful creature is found in the Indian and western Pacific Oceans. It gets its name from the electric blue spots on its back.
More than just a simple coloration, the blue spotted ray’s unique physical appearance serves as a warning for the venomous spines on its tail. The venomous barbs usually remain hidden unless the ray intends to use them, but with careful observation of this figurine you just might spot them!
The bluespotted ray has a predominantly grayish-tan body, similar to most rays, although they are notable for the blue spots along their back
Animal Figurines make the best addition to Small World Play & Sensory Play Tray activities. Create a scene along with some Sensory Fluff, Sensory Magic Sand, Pluffle, Coloured Rice, Water-beads or fizzy play! (all available & sold separately)
