Ark - Racecar Chew Necklace (Individual)

Rev up your engines with ARK's Racecar Chew Necklace!  Souped up with aerodynamic textures, this chewable racecar pendant handles like a dream.  

The Racecar is a great option for chewing with your front teeth (for more slender options that reach the back molars, we have other designs available.  Designed for anyone who needs to chew, use this racecar necklace as a safe alternative to chewing on pencils, shirts, fingers, etc. and to help calm, focus, and self-regulate.

Like all ARK chewelry, it's made in South Carolina, USA and is available in 3 color-coded toughness levels for various levels of horsepower! Exact color hues may vary slightly. 

Chew Toughness Levels

• Standard/Soft - This is the softest level, recommended for mild chewers (those who do not chew through anything) and/or those with limited jaw strength. Chewing occasionally, sucking on items like collars and cuffs

• XT (Xtra Tough) Medium/Firm - This is the middle level, It's firmer, but still fairly chewy, recommended for moderate chewers. Chewing harder items and chewing semi-regularly

• XXT (Xtra Xtra Tough) Very Firm - This is the toughest level, It still has some “chewability” to it, but it’s pretty firm (although not as firm/tough as our solid chews). Recommended for avid chewers – chewing regularly and intensely

Please note: No chew tool is indestructible, but XXT is usually the longest lasting level for avid chewers

Details:

• Each pendant is sold individually with its own breakaway necklace cord

• Designed, manufactured, and assembled in the USA by ARK Therapeutic

• Each pendant is medical grade, FDA compliant, and contains NO lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex

• Each pendant measures about 2.5" tall, 1.2" at the widest part (1" not counting the wheels), .6" at the thickest part in the center of the car.

• The cord measures approximately 36 inches in length.

• If desired, you can shorten the cord by scooting the thread out of the clasp, retying the knot at a shorter length, and then trimming the excess thread.

• Highly recommended for individuals who have Autism, sensory needs, anxiety, ADHD, etc, or for anyone of any age who needs to chew.

• Recommended for individuals of all ages and abilities under the guidance of a therapist or a trained caregiver 

Caution: This product is not a toy.  Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible.  Wear/tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use.  How long they last is typically equal to the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other variables (such as jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels, if other sensory strategies are in place, etc.).  While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly.  Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace at first sign of wear and tear.
